Explanation
This could be due to the use of a USB device (for example: a flash drive, external hard drive, MP3 player or a cell phone) that has not been safely removed from your computer.
Solution
To stop receiving this error message:
- Close QuickBooks and your Bill.com Sync Dashboard.
- Safely remove the device from your computer, by clicking on the Safely Remove Hardware icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar (If you don't see the icon, click the Show hidden icons button to display all icons in the notification area). You can also safely remove devices from the Computer folder by clicking Start Computer right click the device you want to remove, and then click Eject. If your device is still plugged into your computer, remove it now.
- Sync again.
If you still receive the error after following the above steps, try rebooting your computer and then syncing again.
