QuickBooks Desktop Sync Error: Run-Time Error Installing QuickBooks Sync

To resolve the run-time error when attempting to sync with QuickBooks Desktop, try the following:
  1. Open QuickBooks by right-clicking on your QuickBooks program icon and selecting the option to "Run as administrator"
  2. After QuickBooks successfully opens, close the application.

Once opening QuickBooks as an administrator, the runtime error should disappear.
