Explanation 

This error occurs when an item is trying to sync from Bill.com to QuickBooks Online (QBO) but the account associated with the item is not the correct account type.

Solution

Edit the item in Bill.com to have the correct account type associated, then sync again.

  • If the product or service is something you sell, use an income account.
  • If the product or service is something you purchase, use an expense account.
