Error
Subscription period has ended or canceled or there was a billing problem : You can't add data to QuickBooks Online Essentials/Plus because your trial or subscription period ended, you canceled your subscription, or there was a billing problem. |
Explanation
This error occurs when the sync cannot be completed due to the QuickBooks Online (QBO) account being inaccessible due to permissions issues, or an issue with the QBO account's subscription.
Solution
First, double check that the correct user has setup the sync by disconnecting and reconnecting using the QBO Master Admin's login information:
- Disconnect the current sync connection in Bill.com by hovering over the Gear icon , then clicking Settings
- In the Sync section, click Setup
- Click "Disconnect"
- Return to the Gear icon, then click Settings
- In the Sync section, click Setup
- Clear your browser cookies and temporary internet files
- Click the "Connect with QuickBooks" button
In the popup window that appears:
- If the QBO Master Admin is setting up the sync themselves and they are logged in to QBO in the same browser as this setup, they should simply complete the setup.
- If the QuickBooks Online Master Admin is instead assisting another user in setting up the sync or has provided their login credentials, the user setting up the sync needs to enter the QuickBooks OnlinMaster Admin login credentials when prompted to log into QuickBooks Online/Intuit
If the error persists after reconnecting the sync with the current QBO Master Admin login information, reach out to Intuit Customer Support for assistance in addressing the QBO subscription issue.
