To change the billable status of a line item:
- Select the customer for the line item
- Once the customer is selected, click on the dropdown menu next to the customer to display the Billable? checkbox
- If this box is checked, the line item is billable to the customer. If it is unchecked, the line item is non-billable
- If the Customer: Job field is not showing on the create bill page, "Use Customers / Jobs in Payables" may not be enabled. To enable it, hover over the gear icon and navigate to Settings > Overview > Accounting Preferences. Then click Edit, change "Use Customers / Jobs in Payables" to Yes, and click Save.
