The bank balance can be synced over to Bill.com with some accounting software packages.

QUICKBOOKS FOR WINDOWS, QUICKBOOKS ONLINE OR SAGE INTACCT

Book balance will sync automatically. This balance is taken from the Trial Balance Report which always reflects yesterday's closing balance.

• Note: If QuickBooks Online sync was established prior to 9/25/15 the bank balance will not be synced to Bill.com. 
• Note: Bank balance will not update via the sync until a payment has been made in Bill.com.

To override the balance, click the balance number just above the Cash Forecast graph, check the Override account balance box and enter the opening bank balance and date.

ALL OTHER ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE

For accounts not syncing the book balance, cash forecast will need an updated bank balance regularly. If your bank balance is not updated for more than 7 days, Cash Forecast will use today's projected bank balance from the details table.
