ADDING A CONVENIENCE FEE
After determining the governing rules pertaining to convenience fees, the fee can be added by doing the following:
- Hover over the gear icon, and then click Settings
- Under Receivables, click Online Payments
- Click the Manage link next to the Convenience Fee option under Credit Card or PayPal payments
- Enter the fee you want to charge
- Click Save
Note: if you specify a flat fee (e.g. $10), only that amount is charged, regardless of the number of invoices paid. However, a percentage fee (e.g. 1.5%) applies to the total of all invoices paid.
REMOVING A CONVENIENCE FEE
- Hover over the gear icon, and then click Settings
- Under Receivables, click Online Payments
- Click the Manage link next to the Convenience Fee option under Credit Card or PayPal payments
- Clear the amount in the "Convenience Fee" field
- Click Save
