Updating Sync Dashboard after changing QuickBooks Desktop file location.


If the location of a QuickBooks Desktop file has been changed, the file location information must be updated in the Sync Dashboard.


  1. Make sure QuickBooks program is completely closed
  2. Open Sync Dashboard 
  3. Click "Edit" on Sync Dashboard
  4. Open QuickBooks Desktop
    • If more than one person uses the file, login as QuickBooks Administrator
  5. Click "Next"
  6. Confirm location of QuickBooks company file and click "Next"
  7. Enter login credentials and click "Next"
  8. Select the organization to sync and click "Finish"
  9. Select Sync Profile and click "Sync"
