Bill.com uses a third-party vendor to print and mail the checks to your vendors. We use the same mail service as AT&T does to print and stuff their monthly bills.
This third-party vendor receives a check file from Bill.com on a daily basis. They print the checks, using an automated, barcoded process to place the checks individually into windowed envelopes. Checks are also periodically manually inspected to ensure accurate print process.
The entire check printing process is housed in a secure facility, and the process, as well as the bonded employees, are monitored with video cameras.
Envelopes are injected directly into the first class postal mail stream via main postal hubs in Logan, Utah and Dallas, Texas to ensure the fastest possible receipt by the vendors you've paid. Pay faster checks are sent from a postal hub in Illinois.
Bill.com Payment Operations receives daily confirmations that files have processed and all files and file receipts are transmitted securely.
