Accept PayPal payments with Bill.com Receivables

Bill.com provides the option to accept payments via PayPal. Accept credit/debit card payments directly into your PayPal account:
  • No set up fee / no monthly fee: PayPal doesn't charge setup / monthly fees, so it's a very convenient way to accept credit cards. You don't get charged a fee until a customer pays you by credit card.
  • Convenient for your customers: Your customers make payments in just a few clicks. When they choose to pay via Credit Card - PayPal, they are redirected to the PayPal website, where they enter their credit/debit card information or login to PayPal.
  • Instant paymentsCustomer payments are available in your PayPal account instantly (minus applicable PayPal fees).
  • PayPal Standard FeesPayments received via Paypal will be charged PayPal's Standard Fees. Please note the following
    • Bill.com does not charge additional fees when receiving PayPal payments.

Setup instructions

Already have a PayPal account set up? Follow these steps:

  1. Select the gear icon and click Settings
  2. On the Settings page, under Receivables, click Online Payments
  3. In the PayPal section, click (Start) to start receiving payments.

Don't have a PayPal account set up yet? Follow these steps:

  1. Select the gear icon and click Settings
  2. On the Settings page, under Receivables, click Online Payments
  3. In the PayPal section, click (Setup)
  4. You will be redirected to PayPal - enter your PayPal login credentials
  5. Click "Agree and Continue"; you will be redirected back to Bill.com
  6. Once you've set up a PayPal account to receive payments, you may use this same accounts to pay vendors via PayPal

Things To Know

  • PayPal payments are only available via the customer portal. Customers can log in and select the PayPal option to submit a credit card payment.
  • PayPal is not available for ePayments. Payments can only be made with a credit/debit card.
