Business Validation Error: You cannot delete an account that is associated with a Form 1099 box.
This error occurs when an account was deleted in Bill.com that is associated with a Form 1099 box in QuickBooks Online (QBO). This prevents the sync from being able to delete the account.
SolutionIn QBO the account will need to be removed from the Form 1099 box. To do so:
- Go to the Vendors tab.
- Click on the Prepare 1099s button at the upper right.
- Click Continue your 1099s.
- Navigate to the Accounts page.
- Locate the specific account and update it to a different one, or uncheck the different boxes that you don't need to track.
- Click Save and finish later to close the window.
