Bill.com Money In/Out Clearing account and Bank account GL not set correctly

Explanation

This error occurs when the Clearing Accounts and Bank account GL account preferences in Bill.com are not set up correctly or are set to the same accounts.

Solution 

In Bill.com,

  1. Hover over the Gear Icon Gear.PNG and click Settings
  2. Click Preferences under the Sync section
  3. Click the Edit Icon Edit.PNG
  4. Select the correct accounts for the Bill.com Money In Clearing, Bill.com Money Out Clearing, and the GL Account for all Bank Accounts listed. Note: the clearing accounts and the bank GL accounts cannot be set to the same accounts.
  5. Sync
